Holy shit Fox has actually given us something good. My step-dad got Season 1 for Christmas, and now our entire family is hooked on it. Is anyone else watching? Enjoying? Actually catching some of the medical phrases thrown around and thinking highly of themselves because they took a Medical Terminology class in high school?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's the wiki article. It's like Gray's Anatomy without the nausiating bullshit thrown in to sell it to teen and middle aged women, mixed up with Becker. It's so awesome, I actually logged off of WoW to watch it.

I've never watched an entire season. I catch random episodes here and there. I like it because the guy is a jackass but actually helps people vs. the real world where the doctors are nice and just like to see how big the bill can get.

Nothing was wrong with Becker. This is just like Becker in a bigger hospital, and without the live audience. And even better.

I don't like House that much. Originaly I was biased and annoyed because it felt like a rip off of Scrubs since it came out right when Scrubs was at its highest popularity.

But then I watched a few episodes and realised it is its own animal with its own style and originality.

But then I kept watching and realised that in every episode a patient has a strange disease which turns out to be a rare form of cancer. Formula is one thing, but this lacks creativity.

The actor who plays House himself though is thoroughly badass.

House is one of my favorite shows on TV. So much depth into each character, so many wild twists and absolutely hilarious humor that House brings to the show. He's really English I think, so his American voice is totally faked which is weird lol.

You don't watch it for the diseases, you watch it to see the one thing, just the one thing, that House says that would make a [insert annoying civil rights group here explode], like when he told the woman that didn't want her child vaccinated that he was measuring her kid for baby coffins.

House is great! They play it on Belgian telly too, I just like his "I care about the disease, not the patiënt" - approach, but in the end he always gets involved one way or another.

I don't see what the two have to do with each other. But the newer episodes of Family Guy are in fact thoroughly terrible. The first season is still up there, but much after that I don't really care for.

You guys might watch it for House's crazy rants, but I have scrubs for that. Or at least did season 7 blew (*sniff*). Of course, there's still the fact that House's rants are more the mean spirited form of funny than just the punchline type of funny. But like I said House himself is cool.
