Who is Responsible for...

The opening music is rocking, i love it and it fits the game nicely. sometimes (usually when extra drunk) i load up ff just to blast the music... outstanding job. just thinking though, if and when you get around to doing animated start screens (if there is more then 1) will there be different (more) music if so please make it equally as bad as$

Its a good song but imo it doesnt fit at all (i expect somthing like rtcw/et DUN DUN, DUN DUN).

I kinda hope the main screen is just temp, cause it could have a nice map background, doesnt even need music just pop in some nice sound effect for the map.

Yup, i think there's been a suggestion of making the openning background animated, i guess sort of like HL2 series.

Steam uses Internet Explorer as the "in-built" browser, so no thanks. There's nothing wrong with the current background (except the soldier, he seems to be a bit out-of-place ). You won't be looking at the background much anyway, and the menus hide it behind them most of the time.

I agree, they're pretty to look at and all...but they increase loading times a HUGE amount just to get to the main menu. Always annoyed me while I played HL2. If they are made though just put a option to turn them off and leave it as static screenshots :P

I third the vote against a 3d background, I want to play the game, not wait for the first menu to load. A cycling background image (new one each time you load the game, don't have to change while ingame) would be nice, maybe including your screenshots.

My Bro also says the Solder looks constipated, I don't see it. But maybe another class should be on the front. I nominate the scout, because the game is hellaciously fast and fun.

What do you mean, is IE not rendering pages properly enough to be usefull? I think most pages are at LEAST (if not mainly) IE-compatible.

Even on high end computers a "background map" makes the game load about 3-5 seconds slower in a game that already takes a few minutes to get in game to begin with.

And upgrading a hard drive isn't going to help someone get into the game faster because of a 3D map. :P

Even Valve is using the feature less and less because of that. Now 5 years down the road things will be different.
