Low-Gravity FF
I was just wondering how many of you have gave low-g FF a try. We currently have a server running hosting it, and it seems to stay full. I was part of an old Low-g TFC clan called [s0d], and am trying to bring some low-g fun back in the form of FF. Another thing i have noticed is the sv_gravity 200 sure does feel lighter than it did when running on the HL1 engine. Anyways, throw your opinion n on here and let me know what you think!

I agree. Some maps don't fit in well with low-g. What maps would you suggest?
And what gravity do you think would feel more TFC like? 250? 300? =SF= ReHab Last edited by Rehab; 09-17-2007 at 03:56 PM. |

Well, CZ, and Aardvark are very fun low-g IMHO. I'm currently intrawebless (damn them releasing this the weekend I'm moving!) but as soon as I'm back online I'll tweak with my server a bit and see what works out best.

i will mostlikely do a seperate compile of my map hall of giants with the lowgrav on.. this way servers that want the lowgrav version only , can run that or both or however they wish, since the maker of the map originaly intended it to be a lowgrav map, i think i should do it justice

Both classics. Can't wait for some of the old maps to be remade!

Played in your server a bit the other day, and the only map that really didn't lend itself well was the hunted map (i dont know names, im a TF nub) but most of the others, especially cz2, were fun

Glad you enjoyed it! Hope to see you back there sometime in the near future. Hunted does seem a bit one sided when on low-g. I'll look into that. Thanks!
