Pyro Concept Art and Unskinned Render

Courtesy of rebo's hard work, featured below is concept art for the pyro model. Concept art does not represent exactly what the object will look like in game, but instead it is intended to give the modeler/skinner an inspiration or feeling -- a muse, if you will.


The pyro concept was but fodder for rebo's modeling skills, and through his crafty inferno rebo hath spawned the pyro character model. Though at this point it's only an unskinned render, we're sure the final product will be absolutely smokin'...

New Talent Aboard

We've welcomed Vorn and Phero to the coding team, as well as trepid_jon and trepid_jesse in the mapping department.

Vorn and Phero will begin work on various odds and ends, while Jon and Jesse have begun a Hunted remake and will be tackling non-standard gametypes for our new maps.

All bring metric tons of experience and we're glad to have them on.

Project Manager Interview

Our Project Manager, the ever captivating Schtoofa, was graciously interviewed by Azlan of Halflife2.net and The Catacombs a little while back...
Halflife2.net: As far as overall progress, about how far along is Fortress Forever? What's left to be done?

Schtoofa: We've got a handful of maps already in the works, most of the sounds completed, many models underway, and some in-game mechanics worked out. We still have a long way to go though.
