There are many ways in which a sentry can be taken down, as a light class use nailgun and try to hit the sentry from a blind spot where it won't fire back at you. As soldier a few rockets or a nail nade will kill it. Demos' and heavies' mirv are will definitly kill a sentry. As a spy you could toss 2 frags and it'll go down, you could also try sab the sentry, however try to kill the engy first by back stabbing him, you could do this even in front of his sentry, just make sure you don't miss, or else you are dead. Remember if someone attacks you while you are sabbing you'll stop and have to restart again, so try to do it when no one notices you. Engineers on their own can sometimes be hard as they have EMPs and frags, but in most cases you will always have better weapons than him(expect if you are scout, but then you shouldn't be trying to fight anyone). |
